Beware of Scammers!

Date

Hello everyone,

As the prices in the market rise, so does the number of scammers. It’s a concerning trend we all need to be vigilant about.

I want to emphasize that neither Heidi, Toby, I, nor any of our dedicated moderators will ever initiate a direct message (DM) to you. More importantly, we will never encourage you to invest in a specific project (like XZY), nor will we suggest moving your funds onto any exchange.

Social media and Discord are teeming with fake accounts. Despite our efforts to report them, they keep resurfacing like weeds. It’s a never-ending battle. Therefore, treat any unsolicited DM with a healthy dose of skepticism. If someone you don’t know contacts you out of the blue with investment advice, it’s probably not legitimate.

For more insight into this, Heidi has created some informative videos that delve into the various tactics scammers use and what red flags to look out for:

Stay safe and informed, and remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I recently create a X account after many years to help with DYOR. And there are soo many Toby and Heidy profiles that started to follow me once I followed them.
I reported and muted them all.
